This is my 25th lesson with cô Dương. In the lesson, cô Dương introduced Vietnamese words related to the Lunar New Year and occupations. After that, we watched a hilarious video as part of our learning practice. Thank you for always keeping the lessons so engaging! As a writing exercise, cô Dương asked me to write about the Lunar New Year in Hong Kong. I am looking forward to learning more about the Vietnamese Lunar New Year in the next lesson as well!

I have been learning Vietnamese with Francis for almost a year. Our lessons are mainly conducted in English. Francis is very patient, easy to communicate. He can adjust his teaching approach according to my learning needs. He is also always happy to answer my questions and help me clear up the confusion I have. Francis is hardworking and well-prepared for our classes. He can design the own teaching materials and clearly highlights key points using different colors, which makes me easy to follow and understand. He makes excellent use of digital tools, such as sharing teaching materials on iCloud with me, all the lessons are also recorded, I can conveniently revisit and revise the content after class, which helps my daily communication in Vietnam a lot. I truly appreciate Francis’s dedication and support throughout my learning journey, I really enjoy learning Vietnamese with him.

Class is always interactive and I like how Co Emily will make my daughter use what she learned to formulate short responses. She still has a long way to go so she can listen to a normal conversation. At least if we go really slow she can pick up some understanding.

A really friendly and enthusiastic teacher who makes lessons enjoyable and easy to follow. The lessons are well planned and focus on real, conversational Vietnamese that you can actually use day to day. I’ve learned a lot and always look forward to each class.

I recommend Emma Hoang Gam. She is a very good teacher. She likes to teach, she is very competent, she explains very well. I learn a lot of vocabulary and grammar, I speak with her in Vietnamese, she corrects me very well, I speak more fluently, She is encouraging and joyfull. I am more selfconfident and I'm progressing very well. I recommend Emma Hoang Gam a lot!

It is important to understand the cultural aspects of this language and Sofia being a Native speaker does this very well!! I enjoy learning with her, and she provides great feedback in English

The teacher was very kind, bright, and communicated well in English. She prepared teaching materials in advance and used number cards to help practice saying numbers, which was very effective and engaging. Overall, it was a very positive and helpful lesson.

Only had a first intro lesson, but it was a stunningly good start. Giang is an excellent communicator who makes people feel very comfortable, which is essential for building confidence in new speakers such as myself. She is also smart, culturally aware, and humorous, which makes learning a joy. Highest recommendation.

Co Duong is a good teacher because she is nice, kind, helpful, and patient. She also makes class fun. I have learned a lot and can say a lot of vietnamese words to my mom and grandma. thanks to her. -Teddy (8 years old)

Ms. Sofia Cao teaches her students with great passion and carefully guides them so that they can learn step by step. She pays special attention to speaking, grammar, and listening training, recognizing that listening is the foundation that naturally leads to speaking in any language.

I’ve really enjoyed learning with this teacher. Her classroom environment is always relaxing and welcoming, which makes it easy to focus and participate. She’s very supportive, she corrects mistakes in a positive and encouraging way, which keeps me motivated to learn and improve. She’s also very understanding and willing to work with me whenever I have difficulties, which I really appreciate. I feel like I’ve learned a lot during my time in her class, especially thanks to her clear explanations and insights. She gives great reasons for when certain words are used and helps me understand the difference between words of Chinese origin and other vocabulary. Overall, I highly recommend her as a teacher!

I just finished my trial Vietnamese lesson with Glenda and it was a super fun class. We focused mainly on learning the alphabet, and she was very patient and clear in explaining each letter and sound. What I really appreciated was how much she helped me with pronunciation — she corrected me gently and even gave me a few vocabulary I could use when learning certain double and triple vowels. Glenda creates a friendly and supportive atmosphere, which makes it easy to ask questions and practice without feeling nervous. I’m looking forward to learning more with her and would definitely recommend her to anyone starting Vietnamese!

I just had my first Vietnamese learning session with Ty, and it was a fantastic experience! Ty speaks both English and Vietnamese fluently, which made it easy to understand new concepts and feel comfortable asking questions. has 100% fluent in both english and vietnamese... (american english accent and Southern vietnamese accent) easy to communicate with .. Perhaps add some type of structured course material ?
