I’ve enjoyed my guitar lessons with Ian. His passion for teaching really shines through in the session which makes learning so much more engaging! Looking forward to to continuing with Ian to see how far I can take this :)

Flexible lesson time: the teacher usually allows me to have lesson time amendments before classes, yet patiently instructs throughout class. Supervising with applicable skills: encouraging students to nurture good habits and gestures to play guitar easily. Organising practice plan: after lesson the teacher supply with practices that are supposed to go through weekly.

Very good understanding my need and able to explain the music theory with instant created music note which is easy to understand and can be kept after lesson for further practice. Ian is able to speak English too

Carrie ensures her students build a strong foundation by focusing on essential aspects like proper posture, technique, and rhythm. Her attention to these fundamentals has helped me develop the right habits, setting me up for long-term success on my musical journey.

Lenny can composite and customize song for students. He composited a song I really like today, You're Beautiful by James Blunt, and teach in our class and guided me to play on it. I really enjoy tha class and thank you, Lenny : )

Mr. Wu is very professional. He is patience and thoughtful and has deep knowledge in classical guitar. I am very satisfied with his teaching style and high recommeend him as your teacher if you want to step up your classical guitar skills!

The instructor tailored the course content to meet my specific needs, taking into account my skill level and the pieces I wanted to practice. He even provided customized assignments and a tab sheet, which made it much easier for me to continue practicing on my own. The theory lessons were explained very clearly, and I gained a lot of valuable insights, even during the trial lesson. Overall, it was a highly rewarding experience, and I would recommend this instructor to anyone looking to improve their guitar skills.

Sina can adjust his teaching according to my level during the lesson. He also provided different optional homework that I could practice after class. I can see improvement in my guitar playing and enjoy playing it with Sina's instruction. Thank you and nice work, Sina.

I found out about UFOLIN through a music pro’s recommendation, and he’s been fantastic for electric guitar lessons. His experience in professional concerts and live shows really shines through, especially when it comes to tone setup and mastering all the details. Ian was excellent! He made theory easy to understand and apply, quickly gauged where I was with the Guitar and tailored the class to my needs. We covered the CAGED system and I felt that I now understand the concept much better just from a trial lesson. I'm excited to take more lessons with Ian and would highly recommend him to anyone!

The teacher will give some helpful exercises according to the level of the students, and there will not be difficult. he will teach you step by step, and the teacher will also care about your exercises after class, so you can ask the teacher at any time if you have any questions.

Really enjoyed learning a bit more about music theory and different chord voicings. Looking forward to practicing my listening skills to determine what key and chord progressions are used in a song.

Anna is a phenomenal teacher. She brings a positive spirit to every lesson. Even when I’m not in a great mood, she lifts me up. Also, I’m not the quickest or best student, but Anna is so patient….probably more patient that I deserve. I’m kind of self conscious about things like taking music lessons, but Anna makes me feel like I’m doing okay. So much so that I’m always looking forward to our next lesson. She’s just a wonderful teacher, who seems to understand the challenges of students like me. I feel very lucky to have found her.

Ian is great. He always has a plan in mind and it really helps maximize the time my son spends with him. Other teachers seem to be all over the place in their lessons. Ian is much more structured, which I think helps my 10 year old focus more since he knows what to expect, not "so what do you want to try this week?" I highly recommend Ian!

Today we went over 5 new exercises. I've got to review the video to check all the details. 1. E Shape strum on 1-4-6-8-11-13. Strum down IMR and up onT 2. Fingerstyle arpeggio in G on string A-G-B-E. Progression X-10-X-0-10-10, X-9-X-0-10-10, X-8-X-0-8-8, X-7-X-0-8-8, X-6-X-0-6-6, X-5-X-0-6-6, X-3-X-0-3-3, X-2-X-0-3-3, 0-0-X-0-3-3, 3-X-X-0-3-3. 3. T-I-M-R on X-0-X-0-0-0 ... T-1-2-3-2-1-2-T 4. Spider with first finger bar 5. RH Open string arpeggio with T on 6-5-4 and I-M-R on 3-2-1. Pluck with side of thumb. Lots of new stuff for 2 weeks. The first guitar class with Ian was refreshing, structured and methodical. It piqued my interest in learning more about guitar, an instrument that magically opens the door to the world of music in its own unique way!

Thank you very much for the past few lessons so far. Anna sends me regular videos to help me progress at my own pace. We are currently working on "House of the rising sun" which I enjoy learning.

Even though it was just a trial class, he was patience and took very inch of his effort seriously to understand my needs before planing a detailed lesson plan for me. Overall, It was a fun and relaxing lesson to attend with a wonderful and experienced teacher~
